It has always been an amazing experience for me to be in Professor John Master Art classes. It is such a privilege. There is something exciting about the merging of two art forms together, visual and performing arts. I could tell that that his students were in collective quiet shock when i started to move with the music. It took a bit of cajoling before many decided to come out and play.
After much warming up, it was heartening to see that everyone was more comfortable and got down to work. Professor John is truly a nurturing teacher. He gently encourages them to leave behind the rational mind and to simply allow the instinctive artistic self to surface and express itself in print. I feel honoured to be a part of the creative process. Despite being in collaboration with Prof. John for years, i never fail to feel a deep sense of awe whenever i finished the class and see the end products. All the drawings and sketches. I could feel a part of me there. Alive and real in the pencil markings. Very incredible. It is evident that the students were quite happy to have another of such session again. That truly made my day. Can't wait for the next class.1% girl,
